Reading Group I

Cambridge Analytica is an independent group of analysands, clinicians, artists, scholars, and others equally obsessed with psychoanalysis. We work with the shared goal of ongoing learning through the engagement of primary psychoanalytic texts.

This reading group will meet to read and discuss Freud.

We will read the text aloud. Group members are invited to interrupt the reading process at any point to speak about what strikes them in what they are hearing in the text thus far, to invite us to go back and reread something that might demand a deeper level of engagement, or to ask a question, etc.

The host will read aloud by default, but others are welcome to volunteer to read aloud.

Reading the text in advance is helpful but not required.

This first series will meet via Zoom on three Fridays at 5pm- 6:30pm: November 7th, 14th, and 21st.

$50 to register. This fee covers all three meetings.

The Zoom link will be sent out to registered group members in advance of the first meeting.
