ARTIST MARKET ALERT! We are so excited to announce our second Read & Shop artist market with Silent Book Club Athens, hosted by Foxglove PlantBar.
READ, SIP, AND SHOP. Readers, customers, and anyone else who would like to attend are invited to drop in from 10am to 1pm at Foxglove to read casually, shop Foxglove's refreshing collection of houseplants and plant accessories, enjoy a coffee, tea, soda, or alcoholic beverage, and peruse the handmade art, jewelry, book accessories, and more from members of Silent Book Club Athens.
Please note, there will not be a dedicated reading hour during this event. You are welcome to bring your book and do some independent reading while you're there! There will be plenty of seating available.
WHY? This event is designed to showcase the crafty hobbies and/or businesses our readers enjoy when they're not at silent book club! Every vendor participating is a regular attendee of SBCA. We look forward to getting to know each other a little better and supporting the creativity of our wonderful reading community.
RSVPS ARE NOT REQUIRED. This is a drop-in event and you do not need to register in advance to secure a spot. However, you are welcome to RSVP here on Eventbrite to get email reminders, and help us estimate attendance!
ABOUT US: Silent Book Club Athens is a group created to bring together book lovers in the Athens, Georgia community. There is no assigned reading, no deadline to finish a book, and no required discussion. Bring your book of choice and enjoy reading in the company of others who appreciate and support reading too. Adults of all ages are welcome, and so are books of all genres and formats.
