This isn’t speed dating, and it’s definitely not another club night. It’s a curated experience for people who want something different — a space to meet other singles in a grown, soulful atmosphere where the music sets the tone and real conversations take center stage.

Unlike a brunch or party vibe, this night is intentionally paced. The music will be the soundtrack, not the main event — allowing space for eye contact, conversation, and chemistry.

💡 A NOTE FROM DJ HEARTBREAK:

People hear “DJ Heartbreak” and assume I don’t believe in love — but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I believe in it so much that I’m building spaces for it to happen.

My name is Stefan Nixon, and for months now I’ve been dreaming up something more intentional than a party, and more meaningful than another night out. R&B & Ready is for people who miss real moments — the spark in a slow glance, the ease of chemistry when the music is right, and the rare magic of meeting someone who just gets you.

This first edition is more than an event — it’s the first step in what I hope becomes a new kind of tradition. I’m beyond grateful to launch it right here in my hometown of Walnut Creek, where my journey as a DJ all started.
