The Raymond Danowski Poetry Library Reading Series: A virtual poetry reading by Douglas Kearney and videos by Laura Iancu

About this Event

The Rose Library is excited to host a virtual reading featuring poet, performer, and librettist Douglas Kearney, and a video screening of works by visual artist Laura Iancu on Thursday, April 15, at 6:30 pm. Registrants will receive a private link prior to the event.

These innovative artists will hold a Q&A right after the event. Link to the Q&A will be posted in the YouTube Live chat during the event.

Kearney will read from his brand new book, Sho (Wave Books). He is the author of six previous collections, and is the recipient of a Whiting Writer’s Award and a Foundation for Contemporary Arts Cy Twombly Award for Poetry. He dropped Fodder (Fonograf Editions), his first album (vinyl & digital), in collaboration with Val Jeanty, in March. douglaskearney.com
