As the event begins, children will settle in with their paintbrushes in hand to paint their very own “Rascal Raccoon” pottery figure while listening to the delightful tale of Rascal’s Herbal Adventures. As the story unfolds, they’ll learn how Rascal discovers the magic of friendship, curiosity, and tea blending in his woodland world.

The story and painting experience go hand in hand — letting children imagine Rascal’s adventures while bringing him to life through color and creativity. Once their raccoons are painted and set aside to dry, it’s time for the next adventure: blending their very own herbal tea!

Guided by Tea of Life Apothecary, kids will explore a variety of herbs, fruits, and flowers — learning about their scents, colors, and flavors. Through hands-on mixing and smelling, they’ll craft a one-of-a-kind Rascal’s Tea Blend to take home, sip, and share with their families.

It’s a day designed to engage all the senses — art, aroma, storytelling, and taste — while inspiring a love for creativity, nature, and healthy choices.
