Join the info session to learn bout your screen and media courses and pathways!

Welcome to the Randwick TAFE Screen and Media Info session!

Interested in working in the Film and TV industry? With no prior experience, this is your chance to learn script writing, pre-production, lighting, camera work, production, editing, working in a team, and the basics of the Film and TV business. Upon successful completion, you can progress to Certificate 4, Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media focused on Film and TV, and graduate with skills at a professional level.

We run full time (16 week) Certificate 3 courses at Ultimo campus and St George campus, as well as Part Time courses at Ultimo campus over 24 weeks. Courses begin in February and July.

Certificate IV in Screen and Media




The nationally accredited Certificate 3 in Screen and Media is designed to give you practical sought-after skills in your specialised screen and media area. Learn from experts and put your passion for creativity and storytelling to use in this dynamic and evolving field. Learn the art of documentary making, motion graphics, and much more.


Certificate 4 and Diploma courses run regularly.

You will learn directing with real actors, from experts who work professionally in the industry. Produce drama films while mastering crew roles, set protocols, specialised camera and audio equipment and sound recording and sound design. Learn to manage post production workflows, color grade and promote your work. Work with high end cameras and professional prime lenses, lighting equipment and microphones on custom built sets.

These qualifications prepare you for the role of an individual who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and uses a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the film, television, radio and interactive media industries.
