Docker Administration & Operations Training - 4 Day Course

Vizuri is proud to serve as an official authorized training and consulting partner for Docker, Inc.  Over the past 2 years, we have provided training to over 300 individuals from over 90 different organizations (including Fortune 100).

What you'll learn

Participants will spend the first two days of the course learning about why Docker exists and the benefits of developing and running your applications on the Docker platform. Each topic covered will consist of a variety of hands-on exercises designed to help you quickly grow from a beginner into a seasoned user. At the end of the first two days, you will also be able to perform the basic tasks needed to get started with Docker and integrate it into your working environment.

You will then transition into more advanced Docker topics and learn to use Docker to control the Docker daemon, setup a secure environment for Docker containers and use Docker Machine, Swarm, and Compose for orchestration tasks including emphasis on Docker’s commercial offerings for the enterprise.

The class includes lecture, hands-on labs, and discussion with a certified Docker instructor.

Docker, Inc. will provide trainees with an official certificate of completion at the end of the training. A take-home copy of the training material will also be provided.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the refund/rescheduling policy?

Notice of cancellation must be received at least 15 days prior to the requested course date to be eligible for a full refund.

Notice of cancellation less than 15 days prior to the requested delivery date is eligible for a refund minus 25% of course costs (calculated from the original amount charged less 25% and applicable processing fees) or can be rescheduled for another class (see rescheduling policy below for details).

Rescheduling requests will allow the attendee(s) to reschedule for another course date (1) time without penalty. If the attendee(s) needs to reschedule subsequent times, the attendee will owe an additional 25% of the course fee, per each time, the attendee(s) reschedules (calculated from the original amount charged). Rescheduling requests will allow the attendee(s) to take the course up to (1) calendar year from the original registered course date or shall forfeit all course costs paid.

Vizuri reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the requested course for any reason deemed necessary. If the course has been cancelled, Vizuri will notify the attendees within 15 days prior to the course start date. If the course has been cancelled, Vizuri will issue a full refund within 3-5 business days. If the course has been rescheduled for another date, the attendee must let Vizuri know if they would prefer a refund or to reschedule the training for a future date. No rescheduling fees or processing fees will apply in this case.

What do I need to bring to the course?

A laptop with SSH access (OSX and most Linux distros have this by default, on Windows you can get a client such as PuTTY).

We will provide you with a server to SSH into for the exercises. Please make sure that you have a Github account and a Docker Hub account before the class as well. This will help to speed things up.
