Every Friday evening join the AAACC and Black Freighter Press for the Raise Your Voice Open Mic! This open mic is space encouraging solo and group creatives to take the stage with something new, a classic favorite or a little bit of both.


Artists will have a maximum of ten minutes.


Sign-ups are onsite only.


Signups Begin: 5:15pm

Doors Open: 5:30pm

Event Starts: 6:00pm


Low tech, High impact.


The AAACC is a community led and oriented space, while we try not to censor artists, we do ask that violence, hypersexuality etc be kept to a minimum... ultimately we ask that you read the room and adjust accordingly.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of tech will I have access to?

All artists will be provided a maximum of two mics (with mic stands), connect ability to the house sound system for amplification, a general wash of the stage and access to a DI box if needed.

What types of things are prohibited?

While we aim not to censor artists, it is safe to say that the use, ingestion and/or displaying of liquids, weapons, violence, nudity or any combination of such things will get your performance ended and get you removed from the venue.

Is it possible to vend at this event?
