Prepare for an afternoon of sweeping emotion, profound beauty, and symphonic mastery brought to life by rising star Ying Li, piano. With its haunting opening chords, soaring melodies, and breathtaking virtuosity, Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto has captivated audiences for over a century—and remains one of the most beloved works in the piano repertoire. The program also features Brahms’ Symphony No. 4, the composer’s final and most introspective symphony. Rich in complexity and emotional depth, it blends classical structure with Romantic intensity.
