DESCRIPTION:
The road to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion is a journey with many starting points, all leading to the same goal. Yet, many organizations find themselves in the middle of the road asking “now what?” In this lunchtime conversation, we’ll hear from leaders who have sustained DEI efforts in their organizations and strategize about how to dive deeper in our own lives and workplaces.
This winter, FISA held a meeting with its grantees to discuss their approaches and strategies to implementing an anti-racist and anti-ableist policies and procedures in the workplace. In advance of the conversation, we ask participants to read the handout that summarizes takeaways from this conversation and think about steps that participants' own workplace can take to sustain DEI efforts.
