Quilt As You Go: Create Your First Quilt Block
Overview
Join us for a fun and approachable class where you'll learn the "quilt as you go" method—an easy, step-by-step way to make your very first quilt block. All materials will be provided, so you can simply show up and start sewing!
You’ll learn how to cut squares and strips, then sew them together to create a beautiful, finished quilt block. Perfect for beginners and anyone looking to try quilting in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Class is open to ages 16 and up; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased a ticket for the class.
Optional:
Prefer to use your own fabrics? Bring approximately ten ¼-yard pieces of your favorite prints.
About the Instructor
Maria Tucker
A self-taught sewer, Maria specializes in making Renaissance faire outfits, general sewing projects, crafts, and alterations.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment in which case a full refund will be issued.

Refund Policy:
- 14+ days before the first class: Full refund.
- 7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
- Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
- Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.
