Quicksilver Open House
Overview
Are you a movement or dance enthusiast, or curious about the art form (ages 65+)?
Discover Quicksilver Dance Company, a community of older adult dancers who regularly connect through self-expression in dance, experiencing the power of arts participation to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional health. Sponsored by Arts for the Aging, the company also serves as teaching artist assistants in our community-based arts workshops, bringing the joy of dance to older adults and caregivers in Greater DC.
Arts for the Aging invites you to participate with us in this Quicksilver Open House, a morning of dance improvisation, live music, connection, and an opportunity to learn more about the company.
At the open house, you can:
• Join a dance activity led by Quicksilver Artistic Director Nancy Havlik
• Move to live cello accompaniment by Quicksilver Musical Director Adam Gonzalez
• Connect with current Quicksilver members
• Share light refreshments
