Join Teacher Jodi for a dynamic conversation on setting up these young ones for social-emotional success, where we'll explore some simple classroom strategies for meeting even the most unpredictable toddler moments with calm, compassion, care, and some silliness too!


Learn how to support your littlest learners with all things BIG FEELINGS, build friendship skills, transform tricky behaviors, and stop meltowns before they start with easy-to-try teacher tools and phrases that will help you keep your cool when things heat up.


This lively discussion series is for supporting parents, educators, and other champions of young children through the ups and bumps of these early learning years with confidence and a few more tools for your superhero belt.

About

Jodi Becker, MA (she, they) is a long-time early childhood educator, advocate, and social-emotional specialist currently teaching toddlers in a nature-based preschool program. Jodi is a certified Program for Infant Toddler Care Trainer and proud auntie of 9, who lives and works on the ancestral homelands of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples (also known as San Francisco). Jodi's work is rooted in the belief that how we feel about ourselves and in our relationships with others has real power to heal and change lives. A big kid at heart who loves to learn and play just like the littles, Jodi is passionate about co-creating spaces where learners of all ages, abilities, and identities can have fun and feel supported as we grow and stretch together.

Glad you asked! Topics and tools will vary based on attendee interest, so please bring your questions or any issue you're curious about. Sample topics and tools may include: self-help skills, emotional literacy, co/self-regulation, friendship skills, “hot button” behaviors, and more!

Will these discussions be recorded?

Yes, these discussions will be recorded, however, in order to protect the privacy of attendees' stories, the recordings will not be shared. Instead, registered participants will receive a follow-up email after each event that will include highlights and tips from the discussions.

Do I have to attend all the sessions in the series?

Not at all. Feel free to attend one, some, any, or all of the monthly discussion sessions as they fit with your schedule!
