Pickled foods can have many health benefits, including improved digestion, reduced inflammation, and lower cholesterol! Pickling also is a method of food preservation, which can help reduce the amount of organic matter in landfills and the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere. We will learn to quick pickle on the spot using Freetown Farm’s freshly harvested vegetables. Freetown Farm.
