Join us as we bring together:
- a couple who convenes Queer Play Parties that routinely center those left at the margins in the kink scene
- a Black Queer woman who educates her community on the benefits of psychedelics
- & a mom and her eldest child who run a monthly witch market and drag show for a conversation that conjures the futures we want by learning to play without shame.
Doors at 6pm and our conversation begins at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the event until 11pm.
Tickets are sliding scale $10-20 in advance and $20 at the door.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS & HOSTS
Logan Bell is the provocateur alter ego of Travis Church. Logan has filmed porn with both studios and individual content creators. Additionally, Logan creates digital and print photography documenting queer expression of love and lust in public and private spaces. With Josh, Logan is the co-founder of Hand Ball.
Joshua Lubin is a 33 year old hairstylist and business owner who’s lived in Chicago for 10 years. He has been active in the local fisting community most of that time and is very passionate about nightlife and its place in the queer community
Toni Bush is a DMV native and Chicago-based creative, poet, and event organizer. She is the founder of The Shroom Room Chicago, dedicated to educating and inspiring the community through accurate, engaging information about mushrooms—their health benefits, culinary versatility, and ecological importance. Through workshops, accessible resources, and community events, we promote responsible use and deeper understanding for both personal well-being and environmental sustainability.
MamaSweetz and her eldest, The Dommm, established Witch-O-Rama LLC in 2021. Witch-O-Rama stands as Chicagoland’s largest witch market and drag show. This monthly event, currently hosted in Pilsen, IL, showcases a diverse array of holistic and creative small business vendors, all within a family-friendly drag show, creating a welcoming and safe space for everyone. Visitors to Witch-O-Rama are greeted with each vendor sharing a unique story, offering goods infused with passion and creativity such as handcrafted jewelry, and organic skincare products & vibrant crystals and so much more. The highlight of the event is undoubtedly the drag performance. Performers captivate the audience with their charisma and talent, embodying the spirit of inclusivity and celebration. The show not only entertains but also educates, promoting acceptance and understanding across different communities. Workshops and interactive sessions, ranging from tarot card readings to DIY spell crafting, provide attendees with opportunities to delve deeper into the mystical arts. Families often find themselves participating in these activities, fostering a sense of unity and discovery. Regulars and newcomers alike leave with their hearts full and spirits lifted, eagerly anticipating the next month’s gathering. Dr. Nicole Rawls is a Black Queer cultural strategist, anthropologist, and spiritual practitioner who guides individuals and organizations toward liberated futures by reconnecting them to the wisdom of their bodies, stories, and ancestral knowledge. With a PhD in Anthropology from Michigan State University, Dr. Rawls spent over 15 years in higher education as a professor and senior administrator, leading human-centered initiatives, founding institutes, securing over $7 million in grants, and designing nationally recognized programs. She has held roles at institutions including Michigan State University, the University of Bristol (UK), Beloit College, and Brown University before leaving academia in 2021 to fully step into her own creative and strategic vision.Now the founder of two entities—Embodied Futures Lab, her consulting and learning studio, and Dream Praxis Studio, her creative and storytelling space—Dr. Rawls has developed a signature methodology called Embodied Strategic Dreaming. This praxis-based framework blends critical analysis, somatic inquiry, spiritual insight, and liberatory strategy to help people and institutions reclaim their agency and craft bold, human-centered futures. Her current project is examining the ways Queer communities are navigating the current socio-political and economic moment, and what it means to lead with ones queerness in a time of chaos.
Forest Brooks is an artist, songwriter, producer, sound architect, instructional designer, and cultural preservationist. He is the co-founder of ChiMarronage, a local arts collective, with Dr Nicole Rawls. He uses his knowledge and experience to work with artists to connect with and concentrate their human experience into culturally grounded works of art. He obtained a B.A. in English from Southern Methodist University in 2007.
