African Queerness and Intersectionality Presentation


The founder, Olive, will be given a presentation on the history of queer Africans and how colonization has affected our representation and freedoms.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Discussion and Facilitation


We will be providing facilitation questions where everyone is allowed to answer and talk through their thoughts about the novel and how their personal experiences relate to it.

Welcome to the Queer Motherland Book Club! Join us for our October meeting where we will be discussing Under the Udala Tree. This in-person event will be held at the Pan-African Connection Bookstore Art Gallery and Resource Center. This event is designed to give light to the large community of queer Africans across the diaspora, the novels written by us and for us, and to faciliate discussions of our experiences in a safe environment.
