Accessibility Information
This workshop will be held in the basement space of Kafe Kweer, a venue I’m renting for the event. While I don’t run the space myself, I want to be clear about the venue’s accessibility so you can decide if it feels right for you.
Why this space?
I chose Kafe Kweer because it’s one of the few sober, queer-led spaces in the city a rare gem that offers quiet magic and community without pressure. I want to support it in every way I can, even as I acknowledge that the space isn’t fully accessible to everyone just yet.
Basement Access (Workshop Location):
The workshop takes place downstairs, accessed via a staircase with 12 steps and a handrail.
The ceiling height in the basement is about 180cm (5'11"), which may feel low for taller folks.
There is currently no lift or step-free access to the basement.
Café Entrance:
To enter the venue itself, there’s a small step up from the street into the main café.
At this time, there is no ramp access.
I recognise these barriers may exclude some people, and that sits heavy with me. If you have any questions, ideas, or access needs you’d like to talk through, please feel free to reach out I’ll do what I can within the limits of the space.
