Get ready to dive into the world of Queer Dreams at BIRD on September 20, 2025 at 8:00 PM! 🏳️‍🌈

Our mission:

With Queer Dreams we want to create a safer space for Queer Caribbean people of all genders and queer identities. In this space we aim to celebrate our full and intersecting identities, without having to hide any part of who we are. We want to underline that this party is a space centered around queer Caribbeans and we explicitly prioritize the safety of trans* folx in this space. If you are not queer or from the Caribbean be mindful of the space you take up at the party. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, NO -isms or -phobias. Finally, safer spaces are created through community, so we count on your cooperation.

So join us for a night of celebration, art, and community as we come together to embrace and celebrate our intersecting identities!

HOUSERULES & PARTY GUIDELINES

‼️ Age: 18 years or older to enter. ID check at the door!!

NO CAMERAS

We want to encourage everyone to lock up your phones in the available lockers provided by BIRD. We want to respect everyone’s privacy who chooses to attend this party. Designated members of our crew will also be documenting the evening but will not be taking pictures of our guests without permission. Giving the photographer consent to take your pictures, also means you consent us to use said pictures for social media purposes.

Safety

Our aim is to create a safer space for everyone to party and have fun. Our Dream Guardians will be walking around to help maintain a safe space. Like we mentioned above, we do not tolerate any form of prejudice or harassment. Anyone who violates the guidelines can be escorted out. If at any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable or witness inappropriate behavior, you can come up to any of us.

Dream Guardians will be wearing reflective vests during the party.

We reserve the right to deny entry regardless of purchase of the ticket if guidelines are not followed.

Consent, consent, consent

Let’s all let loose and have fun with each other! But always ask for consent first ;) the more explicit the better. We ask everyone to respect others' pronouns, their bodies and their boundaries! Consent is sexy. Anything less than an enthusiastic YES does not count as consent.

Lockers

BIRD has available lockers to store your important belongings. A locker costs 5 euros, available to you the whole evening!

Smoking & chewing gum

No smoking or chewing gum allowed inside. Please go outside if you want to have a smoke.
