Overview

Queer Comedy is back—Out & Proud laughs, fearless LGBTQ+ voices, and big Pride energy at My Hollywood Pride.

Queer Comedy is back—and louder, prouder, and funnier than ever. Now in its 3rd year, Queer Comedy has become a signature My Hollywood Pride event, delivering Out & Proud laughs that celebrate queer joy, visibility, and community in true Hollywood style.

Returning as host, Abby Ballin brings the night together with sharp wit and fearless honesty. An NYC-born, South Florida–based comedian, photographer, and producer, Abby has more than 20 years of experience in media and storytelling. Featured in The New York Times, Time Out New York, and The Village Voice, Abby is known for her raw, autobiographical comedy that creates real connection and big laughs. A beloved presence at My Hollywood Pride, she’s thrilled to return as host and set the tone for another unforgettable night.

Headlining the show is Bear Clarke Webb a fearless, high-energy comedian whose comedy is often described as a bold mix of Ron White’s swagger and Sam Kinison’s edge. Named one of Florida’s Funniest Female Comedians, Bear delivers laugh-out-loud sets that pull unapologetically from her real life—ranging from her lifestyle and relationships to her more than 30 years as a public school teacher. Nothing is off-limits, and her sharp, no-holds-barred storytelling connects instantly with audiences.

Bear is currently wrapping her comedy special, Open Bar: It’s Not a Mullet, and has shared stages opening for comedy legends including Louie Anderson, Rosie O’Donnell, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bill Bellamy, Tommy Davidson, Judy Gold, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Lynne Koplitz, Tammy Pescatelli, and Judy Tenuta. Authentic, fearless, and wildly funny, Bear brings the laughs every time—and invites everyone to come on “OUT”… Bear did.

Featuring Dr. Anna Lepeley, a Cuban-American, internationally touring comedian, author, and proud Subaru enthusiast. Anna has opened for Bob the Drag Queen, Chris Kattan, Jonathan Van Ness, Zane Lamprey, and more. Formerly a college professor and nutrition educator who once lectured bomb technicians on hydration, Dr. Lepley now tours full-time delivering smart, unexpected comedy rooted in life experience—and yes, her merch is a must-see after the show.

Special Guest Robb Kalert rounds out the lineup. A South Florida–based stand-up comedian, proud U.S. Air Force veteran, and father, Robb spent years performing around the world with Air Force Entertainment before transitioning to comedy clubs nationwide. His smart, relatable humor pulls from the chaos of fatherhood, dating misadventures, and everyday frustrations—delivered with authenticity, animation, and veteran-honed stage presence.

Kick off the night VIP-style with an exclusive Meet & Greet with Cocktails, featuring Campari, SKYY Vodka, and Espolòn Tequila, plus light bites. Enjoy the sounds of USA DJ Entertainment setting the vibe as you sip, mingle, snap photos, and meet the comedians before the laughs begin.

All of this takes place at the brand-new Hollywood Arts Hub at the Art and Culture Center Hollywood—an exciting new cultural destination in Downtown Hollywood designed for creativity, connection, and community. With an intimate auditorium and vibrant energy, it’s the perfect stage for a night of Out & Proud comedy.
