Overview

Join us for the launch of our LGBTQIA+ co-working morning of productivity and professional connection in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Welcome to Pride Points' first ever LGBTQIA+ Co-Working & Networking Session!

This event is designed to foster professional growth and community connection, offering a productive environment for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and remote workers. Step away from your home office and join a supportive space where you can tackle your work while expanding your professional network.

What to Expect:

Focused Productivity: Dedicated "heads-down" time to concentrate on your projects and career goals.

Meaningful Connections: Structured and casual networking opportunities to meet and share ideas with local LGBTQIA+ professionals.

Inclusive Environment: Hosted in the community focused space of Yellow Wood Cafe.

Agenda:

9:30 am: Doors open, sign-in, and light networking.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Dedicated Co-Working Block.

12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Open Networking and Wrap-Up.

Important Pilot Event Notice:

This session on December 5th is our very first pilot event! Your attendance is crucial as it helps us gauge demand and shape the format for a regular schedule of professional gatherings. If you are interested in attending future sessions but cannot make the 5th of December, please contact us directly! Your feedback helps us determine the best times and locations for future events to better serve the community.

Where & Who?

We're launching at the Yellow Wood Café (42 Chilwell Road, Beeston, NG9 1EJ)! This event is specifically for the LGBTQIA+ community in Beeston, Nottingham, and the surrounding areas who are looking for a supportive space to work and connect.

Pride Point is fully committed to creating welcoming, affirming, and inclusive spaces.

  • Trans, non-binary, intersex, and gender-diverse people are welcome at this and every Pride Point event. We have also confirmed that Yellow Wood is a trans inclusive venue.
  • Disabled people are also very welcome. However, please note that the meeting room for this event is located up one flight of stairs, and the venue does not currently have lift access. If this presents a barrier to your participation, please contact us so we can explore alternative ways to support your involvement.
  • People of the Global Majority are warmly welcomed and valued in all Pride Point spaces. Our work is rooted in equity and justice, and we actively strive to ensure our events and environments are culturally safe, anti-racist, and affirming for Black, Brown, and racialised communities. Your presence, leadership, and experiences are recognised and respected here.

We look forward to building this professional community with you!
