About the Presenter:

Sristy Agrawal

Sristy Agrawal, PhD, is a quantum physicist and the CEO and co-founder of Mesa Quantum Systems. She earned her PhD at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she worked at JILA and NIST, discovering her passion for quantum sensing. This passion led her to establish Mesa Quantum, a pioneering company dedicated to developing chip-scale quantum sensors aimed at enhancing Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems for widespread market applications. Headquartered in Boulder, Mesa Quantum has secured over $2 million in grants from the US Space Force and the state of Colorado to advance the development of chip-scale clocks, critical for alternative PNT architectures.Along with her co-founder Wale Lawal, they have garnered multiple prestigious awards, including Harvard's President Innovation Challenge, the Rice Veterans Business Battle, and the TFX Capital Business Challenge. Mesa Quantum recently graduated from the HAX accelerator program and raised $3.75 million in a funding round led by J2 Ventures, a dual-use fund. This funding is being used to expand their team and accelerate product development, driving forward their mission to revolutionize PNT technologies for the mass market.
