Curious about quantum physics but don’t know where to start? You’re not alone — and this event is for you.

Join us for Quantum for Everyone, a free, public lecture at UCLA that breaks down the mind-bending world of quantum science in a way that’s clear, fun, and exciting.

Led by experts from USC, Caltech, UCLA, Chapman and beyond, this event is part of ☀️ Summer of Quantum in LA 🌴 — a 10-week citywide celebration of quantum science, as part of the International Year of Quantum.

No background in physics needed. Just curiosity.

Do I need to be a student or scientist to attend?

Nope! This talk is meant for the public — high school students, parents, artists, tech folks, teachers, and the quantum-curious are all welcome.

Where can I park for the event?

The closest option is Parking Structure 8, located just a short walk from Engineering IV. It offers paid parking (rates vary by duration). Free street parking in Westwood is very limited, so we recommend using campus lots or rideshare. Arrive early to find a spot and walk to the venue.

Will there be any hands-on activities?
