The Institute of Physics invites you to a public lecture by the celebrated quantum scientist, Professor Seamus Davis of Oxford and Cork Universities, to discuss the 100th anniversary of Quantum Mechanics, as part of the UNESCO 2025 International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.
Prof Davis, an acclaimed public speaker will introduce you to the quantum world, to the revolution that though a hundred years old, is barely a teenager. Seamus will talk about the strange aspect of quantum entanglement, and how it profoundly transforms matter around us and how laboratories around the world are searching for new entangled states of matter: "Quantum Entangled Beasts".
“Quantum Entangled Beast and Where to Find them” will be accessible to a broad audience, including students , teenagers and artists.
