Topic: This meeting will delve into the critical aspects of assessing research quality and how it can be improved through pre-registration. It will also cover how to assess data quality before and during a study, as well as identify errors that may occur during the study. The workshop will begin with two talks, followed by a hands-on tutorial on conducting high-quality pre-registration and a discussion on how to enhance the procedure.
The aim is that both seasoned and junior researchers will leave the workshop equipped with the tools and knowledge to enhance the credibility and reliability of their work.
Target audience: ECRs including PhD students and postdocs, research assistants, lab managers, any other researcher who are interested in learning about reproducible workflows, such as research coordinators, project managers, data stewards, Principal Investigators, PhD supervisors, Heads of department.
