This workshop provides guidance on how to navigate the New York State minority-and-women-owned business enterprises (MWBE) certification process and is the first step to receiving the technical assistance needed to certify.
The New York State contracting utilization goal for minority-and-women-owned business enterprises (MWBE) is 30 percent – the highest such target in the nation for any state government.
There are over $8 billion dollars in contracting opportunities and certification as an MWBE qualifies your company for contracting opportunities that are otherwise inaccessible.
