QT Homecoming is QARC's annual dance for LGBTQIA+ students and allies held every fall semester for UC Berkeley students.

About this event

QT Homecoming will be a dance to allow LGBTQIA+ students on campus to experience a proud, out loud, and gender-affirming Homecoming. Just like in high school, but you can be yourself! QT Homecoming will be November 17, 2023 (Friday), 6:00-10:00 PM PST in the Clark Kerr Krutch Theatre.

Attendance is free and limited to UC Berkeley affiliates. The event will be capped at 250 people. Ticket sales will close on October 20, 2023 at 11:59pm OR once all tickets are sold.

The dance is created & designed by the Queer Alliance Resource Center (QARC), UCB's oldest student organization for and by queer and trans students. Historically, QARC has hosted an annual QT Prom, but this was halted during the COVID-19 Pandemic; now we're back with a vengeance! This school year, we will host a QT Homecoming in Fall '23, AND a QT Prom in Spring '24 (TBA)!

Is attendace limited to LGBTQIA+ students?

We welcome everyone from any background and identity to join us for QT Homecoming, as long as they are committed to prioritizing, uplifting, and celebrating the lived experiences of QT folk at the dance.

Is attendance limited to affiliates of UC Berkeley?

Unfortunately due to space restrictions, we will be limiting attendance exclusively to students, faculty, and staff at UC Berkeley at this time. Cal 1 Cards will be checked at the door. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can I still attend the event even if I don't have a ticket?

Staff and volunteers will be checking for Eventbrite tickets at the door. Please acquire a ticket at your earliest convenience in order to guarantee entry. ***UPDATE: limited tickets will bee given out at the door on a first-come-first-serve basis.***

Do I have to attend the dance for the entire duration (6-10PM)?
