Shibashi Qigong is a soothing, slow-paced practice designed to help you move with intention. Its 18 movements enhance energy flow, improve posture, boost coordination, and calm the mind. This gentle routine eases tension, strengthens the body, and lifts the spirit, creating a deep sense of balance and wellbeing. As the weeks progress (whether a newcomer or a regular) you will become more accustomed to each move. Each week we will add a little extra to fine tune your practice. However always come with a beginner’s mind, as your mind and body will be different each week.
Qigong is for everyone—just relax, follow along, and enjoy. There’s no “wrong” way to do it unless it causes discomfort. The practice allows anyone to move freely, gain its benefits, and feel at ease. The movements can be practiced standing or sitting down. Sessions are welcoming, friendly, and non-competitive, making learning this beautiful art a true joy.
