The sessions will include:
Joanna recently moved to Whitstable from London where she taught Qi Gong and meditation. Qi Gong is an ancient Oriental method of balancing life and energy through exercise. Her sessions will be an hour long, starting with a meditation to relax the body and clear the mind, some gentle stretching exercises to warm and loosen up the body. Then some deep abdominal breathing exercises which slow the heart rate and allow the body to become deeply relaxed. Our bodies are then ready to do the Qi Gong exercises themselves. These are slow gentle movements that combine with deep breathing to bring about feelings of relaxation. Known as ‘internal exercises’, they bring nourishment and vitality to the internal organs of the body. They can be chair based so they are suitable for any age or ability. In these sessions you will learn how to relax and overcome feelings of anxiety while feeling invigorating from gentle stretching.
The session will be a small group within Revival in a warm, private space.
Accessible to all people. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BOOK TICKETS FOR ALL THREE DATES: You will need to book in for 3 consecutive sessions as part of this course, a further 3 sessions can be pre-booked upon discussion with the practitioner.
