Beth yw DEEP?
Mae DEEP yn ddull cydgynhyrchu o gasglu, archwilio, a defnyddio mathau amrywiol o dystiolaeth mewn dysgu a datblygu gan ddefnyddio dulliau stori a deialog.
Be fydd y sesiwn yn ei gwmpasu
Mae 'Pynciau Trafod' yn ddatganiadau pryfoclyd sy'n annog pobl i gymryd rhan mewn trafodaeth ar y cyd a dysgu myfyriol am bwnc penodol. Mae'r dull hwn yn cefnogi cyfranogwyr i feithrin eu dealltwriaeth eu hunain, yn hytrach na chael gwybodaeth newydd wedi'i gorfodi arnynt. Mae hyn yn gweithio'n arbennig o dda mewn meysydd ymarfer y gellid eu herio, fel cymryd risg. Bydd y sesiwn yn esbonio'r cysyniad o Bwyntiau Siarad ac yn darparu dulliau ymarferol gan gynnwys set o ymarferion i archwilio risg a gwneud penderfyniadau mewn gofal dementia. Bydd y sesiwn hefyd yn archwilio cymhwyso'r dull hwn i wasanaethau plant a theuluoedd.

Mae pynciau trafod yn galluogi mynegi ac archwilio safbwyntiau lluosog, gan weithio tuag at sicrhau dealltwriaeth ehangach o bynciau cymhleth a gwneud penderfyniadau mwy cytbwys. Bydd pawb sy'n gweithio ym maes gofal cymdeithasol sydd â diddordeb mewn cefnogi dysgu myfyriol a chyd-gynhyrchu yn elwa o'r sesiwn.

Talking points – using provocative statements in collective learning
26 June 9.30-11.30 (online) Free
24 places are available in this session. Places will be allocated on a first come, first allocated basis.
What is DEEP?
DEEP is a co-production approach to gathering, exploring, and using diverse types of evidence in learning and development using story and dialogue-based methods.
What the session will cover
‘Talking Points’ are provocative statements that get people engaged in collective discussion and reflective learning about a particular subject. This approach supports participants to build their own understanding, rather than having new knowledge imposed on them. This works particularly well in areas of practice that might be contested, such as risk-taking. The session will explain the concept of Talking Points and provide practical methods including a set of exercises to explore risk and decision making in dementia care. The session will also explore the application of this method to children and family services.
Who might benefit from the session?
Talking points enable multiple views to be expressed and explored, working towards achieving wider understanding of complex topics and more balanced decision-making. Everyone working in social care who is interested in supporting reflective-learning and co-production will benefit from the session.
