Come join us for PWJ26 at 315 Uluniu St #102, Kailua, HI 96734! Get ready for another evening filled with fun, laughter, and good times. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who love poetry, wine and, jazz. This year guests are invited to read their own work or read the works of others you love. A unique opportunity to hear some of the best poets in Hawaii, sample the best wines and, make few new friends. This year's featured poet is none other than Mr. Kinsey McFadden. who has now publish his first collection of poetry. Also 97 year old Mrs. Willie Bennernon will be on hand to present some of her early works. Don't miss exciting experience to share a smile with the one you love!

Parking is NOT included. There is plenty of parking on the street and nearby lots

EVENT RULES:

Once you and/or your guest enter the facility and relinquish your ticket(s), your names will be checked off our quest list. Please make sure to arrive with all necessary items so that you do not need to leave the venue. You don’t want to miss any part of the wine tastings. Doors open at 5:30pm and Close at 9:30pm.

Dress Code:

Valentines Day is a special day to be with those you love. You are encouraged to dress for the occasion. However you are not required to dress formally if you do not wish.

Dancing:

Dancing must remain appropriate to the environment.

Alcohol:

Absolutely no outside tobacco, or drugs of any nature are permitted at this event. Anyone under the influence of drugs or similar items will be asked to leave. You assume responsibility for any accident or property damaged while attending and traveling to and from this event.


END PROCEDURES:

Guests must vacate the premises at the end of the event.

GUEST REPONSIBILITIES:

It is the responsibility of you, the guests, to resolve all questions concerning any of the terms and conditions listed above prior to the date of the event. If you and/or your guest cannot meet any of the terms or conditions listed in this memo, understand that you and/or your guest will be required to leave the event and that no refund of the ticket price will be issued.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask at this event?

A: No, due to local policies masks will not be required but encouraged if you are feeling ill or think you need to.

Q: Can I bring my children or my friend’s children with me?

A: While we would love to include Children, due to the theme and intent of this event, Children are not allowed at this event. This will help keep our attendance numbers at a reasonable level and will allow us to have a fun, safe event.

Q: Can I take pictures at this event?

A: Guest are encourage to take pictures to keep as memories of this event

Q: Where can I park?

A: Street parking is available and there are several lots not far away from the venue.

Q: Will dinner be served at this event?

A: We will not be serving a full dinner, but will instead have heavy Hor d'oeuvres and Charcutiers suitable for wine pairing. We will also provide four wine samples for your tasting. If you require additional beverages, you can also purchase additional beverages if you like.

Q: What do I need to check-in at the door?

A: Guests will be asked to present their tickets to enter the event. If you do not have an electronic ticket, you can pay at the door.

Q: Can I read a poem at this event?

A: This year is focused on the audience. Participants are encouraged to read their own appropriate work or read the works of others. (All materail will be screened for appropriatness by the host)

Special one time performance by Ms Sun Hui. If you have not heard her perform before, It is worth the cost of admission.
