Event description

The Sustainable Business Network’s GSI Partners and Building Industry Association will be hosting an information session with PWD.

About this Event

The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) is looking to partner with developers to manage right‐of‐way (ROW) runoff on development projects to achieve both cost and stormwater management efficiencies. PWD will provide $100,000 per drainage acre of ROW runoff managed in stormwater management practices (SMPs) on the development site for ROW runoff managed above and beyond the regulatory requirements.

The grant can be used towards both the design and construction costs associated with the SMPs. The developer is expected to submit design drawings for the new green inlet connections to on‐site SMPs. After the development project is constructed, PWD will separately construct the green inlets in the ROW and make any necessary connections to the private SMPs.
