Last year dedicated volunteers like you planted dozens of native plants at Veterans Park to support a healthy ecosystem. Today those plants, and others like them, are being threatened by pressure from invasive species that can spread quickly and are upsetting the natural balance of the park’s green spaces. Join us to protect the park and its native plants!

You’ll be guided by experts as you remove harmful, non-native plants with neighbors under the shade of Vet’s beautiful trees. Learn more about our restoration efforts of the past year, take home important lessons for your garden, and spend a morning protecting nature with us!

Bring your own reusable water bottles, loppers, pruners, and shovels if you can.

Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and weeding activities.

By signing up for this event, you'll be informed about future opportunities to plant trees and care for this wonderful park.
