Overview

Get ready to learn essential disaster support and response skills at Putnam County CERT Basic training!

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

CERT members are trained to assist their communities during emergencies when professional responders may not be immediately available. By joining CERT, you can help strengthen community resilience and ensure a faster, more coordinated response during disasters.

This is a 3 day course - must be in attendance for all 3 to recive certification. Friday (6p-9p) Sat (9a-5p) Sun (9a-2p) times may vary slightly depending on module questions and test time.
