Push For Entrepreneurship (PFE) is a one-of-a-kind two hour pushup and fitness fundraiser dedicated to raising funds for K-12 innovation education to under resourced school districts finding the “Lost Einsteins.” Together, we are empowering the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers. Do I have to do push-ups, or are there alternate forms of exercise?

There will be a broad range of alternate fitness options available for Pushers, including exercise bikes, yoga, and rowing. Push for Entrepreneurship is about pushing your own personal limits - not comparing your fitness or abilities to any arbitrary standard or other person.

Is there a fee to attend Push For Entrepreneurship?

While there is not an entrance fee, Pushers are expected to make a good faith attempt to raise minimum of $200. Remember, all donations are tax deductible and go directly towards programs,.

Are donations tax deductible?

Yes, all donations are tax deductible and go directly to NextMinds (formerly the Connecticut Invention Convention), a K-12 non-profit charity delivering innovation programs across New England. Donation acknowledgements are sent for all donations above $250.

How do I know my donation will actually cause a positive impact?

Every donation of $50 will on average bring a full length innovation program to a low-income youth via NextMinds, which is subject to both financial and programmatic audits each year. NextMinds is rated a high-impact, effective charity by Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and ImpactGenome.

What can I expect during Push For Entrepreneurship?

Push For Entrepreneurship is a three-hour fitness marathon, combined with inspiring speakers, impactful networking opportunities, and a high-engagement youth Shark Tank competition.
