Punkin Chunkin is Destinations Aviation’s annual fall festival celebrating flight, fun, and a little friendly competition! It’s where pumpkins take to the sky, as we launch them from a cub aircraft in a day full of aviation excitement, STEM learning, and family entertainment.

Is this event open to the public?

Yes! Punkin Chunkin is open to families, students, teachers, and anyone who loves fall fun and aviation. Admission is free. $40 to buy and chunk a pumpkin from aircraft !

What can we expect at Punkin Chunkin?

Live pumpkin launches, discovery flights, STEM activity booths, food trucks, games, and fall festivities for all ages. It’s part air show, part science fair, and all fun.

Can we book a Discovery Flight during the event?

Yes! Discovery Flights will be available for booking. This is your chance to experience the thrill of flight with one of our certified instructors while pumpkins fly below.

Can we bring our own pumpkin to launch?

Definitely! You can bring your own pumpkin or purchase one on site. Either way, you’ll get the chance to send your pumpkin soaring and see how far it flies!
