What should I bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

Please bring comfortable workout gear, a yoga or similar floor mat, a towel, a water bottle, and a change of clothes if you plan to participate in the cold plunge. We recommend wearing athletic shoes for the workout.

Do I need prior boxing experience to participate?

Accepted Answer

No prior boxing experience is required! The workout is designed to be accessible for all fitness levels, and Matt Russo will provide guidance and modifications as needed.

Question 3

Is the cold plunge mandatory?

Accepted Answer

The cold plunge is optional but highly encouraged. It offers numerous benefits, including reduced muscle soreness and improved circulation. If you prefer not to participate, you can still enjoy the workout session.

Question 4

How long is the cold plunge session?

Accepted Answer

The cold plunge portion will last approximately 20 minutes, with participants rotating in and out of the plunge. Each person will have the opportunity to immerse themselves for up to 3 minutes, depending on comfort levels.  Deep Within Wellness will be providing breathing support and aromatherapy.

Will there be parking available?

Street parking is available at Upper Buena Vista.  Depending on the day spaces can be limited.  If you are coming with a group we recommend using rideshare services.

Question 6

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The event will proceed rain or shine, as The Palapa is a covered outdoor space. In case of severe weather, we will notify participants of any changes via email.

Question 7

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Accepted Answer

We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance, as space is limited and we expect the event to sell out. If there are any remaining spots, tickets may be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.

Question 8

Is there an age limit for this event?

Accepted Answer

Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend the event.

Question 9

Are there any health restrictions for the cold plunge?

Accepted Answer

If you have any pre-existing health conditions, especially related to heart issues, please consult with your doctor before participating in the cold plunge. We also ask participants to notify event staff of any medical concerns.
