Public Workshop: NAVSTA Newport & Aquidneck Island Compatible Use Study

Please join us for a second public workshop for the Aquidneck Island and Naval Station Newport Compatible Use Study. The study is evaluating opportunities to improve transportation, land use and water-related infrastructure as the installation and the Island community evolves over the next several years.

The Newport County Development Council, in partnership with the towns of Middletown and Portsmouth and the City of Newport is leading this study with our consultants at Stantec.

This public workshop will discuss the strategies to address better support the quality of life on the Island and throughout the region, particularly in the transportation, land use, and water/sewer arenas.
