Welcome to the AD German Warehouse designed by Frank Lloyd Wright! Join us for an exclusive in-person Tour at the AD German Warehouse. Explore the iconic architecture of this historic warehouse and learn about the story behind this unfinished masterpiece. Public tours are every Sunday from May 4th thru Oct. 5th, 2025. We offer 4 tour times at 11:00 am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, & 2:00pm. Additional tours have been added as part of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trail Welcome Weekend on May 30th & June 1st.

If you would like to visit us on another date, email us for information on private tours at infoadgermanwarehouse@gmail.com. Private tours need to be set up in advance , so email us as soon as you can. We are a volunteer based non-profit, so we can not guarantee a private tour will be available (2 weeks prior is preferred). If you are having problems with tickets, email us. We are happy to help.

I'm having issues finding the date to order tickets

Events are set up by tour times: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, & 2pm. Select your tour time and then select the date you would like. An additionally date and additional times are set up for Frank Lloyd Wright Trail Welcome Weekend on May 30th and June 1st.

This part of this event is part of our regularly scheduled Sunday tours. See the added tour dates for this event to reserve your tickets.

Do you do offer tours on any other days besides Sunday?

Yes, as private tours ($40/person). These types of private tours are recommended to be scheduled at least 2 weeks prior to your visit. This timeframe ensures, we can accommodate your request to be scheduled with one of our volunteer docents. Send request to infoadgermanwarehouse@gmail.com.

Can I walk around the building without a tour?

No, people are not allowed to venture off the public street to see the rest of the building as it is private property. The property is a private construction site and should be treated as such. People are only allow to walk on the two public streets that are part of the building.

Are there bathrooms for use?

Yes, participants should use the bathrooms before or after the tour.

Where can I park?

There is parking available on the surrounding streets.

What are your gift shop hours?

Our gift shop is only open during tours or by appointment.

What should I wear?

Due to uneven floors and lack of heat, it is recommended to wear appropriate walking shoes and clothes.

Is the building handicap accessible?

Only the first floor of the building is wheelchair accessible. The rest of the tour is not wheelchair accessible. The tour does include stairs and no elevators available in the building.

The A.D. German Warehouse Conservancy, Inc. (ADGWC) was established in Sept. of 2013. ADGWC, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to the renovation of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed A.D. German Warehouse (National Register of Historic Places 1974). We are committed to see this building redeveloped and occupied with a stable primary use compatible with the building and a heritage tourism program. Regularly scheduled tours are every Sunday starting May 5th thru October 6th, 2024 at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm. To select tickets, choose your tour time and then the Sunday you would like to visit. Additionally tour events have been added for tours during the FLW Trail Open Access Weekend, Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. To select tickets for these additionality tours, choose the second set of tour times that only have Friday and Saturday available. For questions, email us.
