About this event

Arts • Fine Art

As fall brings shorter days and festivals of light, join student educators for this interactive tour exploring how light informs concept and composition in visual art. From 19th-century landscape paintings to experimentations with luminosity and space in contemporary abstract sculpture, this tour investigates ways that light influences perception and inspires meaning in artworks from the Museum’s permanent collection and the exhibition Making Their Mark: Works from the Shah Garg Collection.

Tours encourage visitors to look closely, share observations, and discuss varied interpretations.

Free and open to the public.

Please check in at the Welcome Desk when arriving for the tour.
