Being a PhD student is not all about doing research. It's also about speaking about it. Loud and clear !

And it can be quite difficult for most people. That's why GIANT offers you a training day to improve your presentation skills. 2 dates are available: November 8th (in French) or November 14th (in English).

During this day you will work on several aspects of public speaking: from managing stage fright and speaking with confidence to convincing your audience and working on your body language, building a presentation adapted to your audience and most important of all: having fun while speaking in public !

Most of exercices will be prepared in French (November 8th) and English (November 14th).

End of the training

After the training, an official certificate from the training agency "Spontanez-vous" can be delivered (7 hours in "public speaking"). You can ask if it can be converted into credits for your doctoral school.

The number of places available for each day is limited to 10.

You will receive a confirmation email a few days after registering.

To finalise your registration, you will be asked to send a form (provided by GIANT) saying that your supervisor agrees for you to participate in this activity. Indeed, the training is free of charge for the young researchers but the cost is about 100 euros/person, hence why we need 100% attendance!
