Public speaking is a skill. Come to class and learn ways to draft your speech, write your topic and make it more relatable to your audience. You also get the opportunity to practice what you just learned.
Doors open at 12:30 PM and **Class starts promptly at 1:00 PM**

Who is the instructor: Kim B Miller.
Kim B Miller is Prince William County, Manassas & Manassas Park, VA Poet Laureate Emerita. She's an award winning spoken word poet and haikuist.
Kim is the 2023, 2022 and 2021 DMV Renaissance Awards Haikuist of the Year. Kim
Kim received the 2023 and 2021 DMV Best Business Award in the category of Arts & Entertainment.
Kim performed at The National Black Theater (New York), The Atlas Performing Arts Center DC, Northern Virginia Community College, University of Pikeville (in Kentucky) and many other venues.
Kim was the keynote speaker at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. She was one of the commencement speakers at Bard High School Early College DC. Kim was a speaker at the 2023 Journal of Curriculum Theorizing Annual Conference in Dayton, Ohio. She was also the keynote speaker at the Rappahannock Writers’ Conference.
