Overview

Join us to learn about the Keuka Lake Level Management (KLLM) Study and share your ideas for issues and opportunities impacting the lake!

The Town of Pulteney, in partnership with the Keuka Watershed Improvement Cooperative (KWIC), the Seneca Watershed Intermunicipal Organization (SWIO), and the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS), is leading the Keuka Lake Level Management (KLLM) Study to develop a comprehensive water level management tool for Keuka Lake that will incorporate computer modeling, environmental monitoring, and capital improvement recommendations.

Public Meeting #1 will include a presentation overviewing the KLLM Study, followed by interactive activities where participants will be able to share their ideas for issues and opportunities impacting Keuka Lake water levels.

The KLLM Study builds on the Seneca-Keuka Watershed Nine-Element Plan, which recommends developing a management tool to improve water releases to address operational challenges and promote environmental and economic benefits.
