Public Good Tech Voting Apps.

Join Caravan Studios for an online panel discussion on how public good tech can be used to empower voting and civic engagement. In this panel, we will investigate the topic and hear from experts working to build technology tools to enable fair voting practices:


Moderated by: Tiana Epps-Johnson

Tiana Epps-Johnson works to make the US election system more modern, inclusive, and secure. As the Founder and Executive Director at the Center for Technology and Civic Life, she leads a team that provides resources and training to support local election officials in modernizing the ways they communicate with voters and administer elections. Her team also publishes free, open-source civic datasets that have been accessed over 200 million times through some of the most powerful tools that drive civic participation.

Tiana earned a MSc in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science from Stanford University. In 2015 Tiana joined the inaugural cohort of Technology and Democracy Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School. And in 2018 Tiana was selected to join the inaugural cohort of Obama Foundation Fellows.
