FREE Public Bird Banding Day on May 10th, World Migratory Bird Day!

In honor of World Migratory Bird Day, ACI is excited to host our first-ever Public Bird Banding Day! Spend a memorable morning with us at the ACI Bird Observatory, where you'll get an in depth look at how our research team safely captures and bands wild birds on our protected property.

🌿 What to Expect
Experience a unique, hands-on opportunity to observe both migratory and native birds in action. You'll accompany our field researchers, walk along our bird banding net lanes(each net is a short distance from the main trail that is accessed via golf cart), and learn more about bird migration, identification, stopover sites, breeding behaviors and what the birds can tell us about our protected forests.
