Overview of psychotic disorders and evidence-based care, emphasizing multidisciplinary, human-centered, and community-informed recovery.

This training will briefly explore the diagnostic presentation of multiple psychotic

disorders, and will explore treatment for those experiencing psychotic disorders at a

higher level of care. Treatment modalities focused upon will be multi-disciplinary,

human-and community-centered, and evidence/efficacy based.


William Randle LCSW, LISW-S, has been working with survivors of complex and extreme

trauma since 1998. He graduated from the Ohio State University in 2002 with his Master’s in Social Work. Primarily interested in understanding trauma from a physiological and subjective perspective, his primary training has been in somatics and Buddhist Psychotherapy. He is a certified consultant in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as well other somatic modalities. He is also trained in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting, Brain-Based Treatment of Eating Disorders, and the assessment and treatment of convicted sexual and domestic violence offenders. He also spent 10 years training in Buddhist meditation and practices with the New Kadampa Buddhist Union in Los Angeles. William began his career working with abused and neglected children and teens in Columbus, OH, prior to receiving his MSW. Following gradutation, he went on to work with the Mt. Carmel Psychiatric Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Program specializing with people with DID and OEA, as well as those convicted of domestic violence. Following this, he worked under Dr. Laura Hill, Ph.D. at the Center for Eating Disorders and Psychotherapy, specializing with the intersection of eating disorders and trauma. Following his relocation to Los Angeles, he served as Clinical Director for the Bella Vita Eating Disorder PHP before starting private practice. In private practice, Will works primarily complex and extreme trauma, dissociation, and therapy failure. He also provides consultation, supervision, and training with professionals. He has been a member of ISST-D since 2008, and has presented several times prior. He is currently serving on the board of the non-profit Help Exists, which aims to cultivate social connectivity and support for those impacted by organized and extreme abuse of all kinds. He currently practices in Ohio and California.
