PSNY Virtual Workshop: Obsessed!

An all-levels generative virtual workshop with poet Laura Henriksen!

The pleasures of obsession are many. Whether you are fixated on a particular moment, figure, theory, movie or other cultural artifact, an obsession can be like a home for your thoughts, a center of repetition, a place to endlessly return. This hospitable nature makes obsession incredibly generative for writing, since with each return to the fascinating source, a new path forward or digression outward presents itself, as even the most specific and idiosyncratic obsession is capacious and tentacular enough to reach everything.

In this workshop, we will let our obsessions possess us, and we will celebrate the long history of writers who have been similarly compelled and consumed.
