How does my donation help?

Your donation will be converted into a Chewy gift card which will be loaded into an account under the Veterans name.  This will allow food, medication or supplies to be delivered directly to the veteran's home.

How do you find the recipients?

Our list is long and always growing.  Our Veterans come from many valid organizations, including the VA in Northport NY, Paws of War, Marine Corps, and various Veteran Service Organizations.

Are children and dogs allowed at Sand City for this event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we love to see families at our events, but please be advised that this location will be serving alcohol to valid ID'd adults, and there will be live music and entertainment.  Please keep an eye on your children and dogs.

Can I still go to Sand City that day if I don't want to buy a ticket?

Yes, Sand City will be open to the public that day, but we will be offering drink specials and live music and kindly ask for any amount donations that you would be willing to give.

Who/What is The Tuohy Giving Foundation?

The Tuohy Giving Foundation was establised after a tragic loss.  We had a choice to get better or be bitter, and we chose to be better.  Our foundation hosts the Russell Blake Cornhole Tournament , Project Koda, Project Warm Vet, Project Debbies Panty and various other veteran fundraisers.
