Prohibition: Find the Speakeasy

The year is 1929. Prohibition may be law, but that hasn’t stopped Appleton’s nightlife from buzzing—especially at The Moxie, the city’s most exclusive speakeasy. Tonight, it’s set to host the party of the year… but murder has a way of ruining good booze and better company.

Solve the case of the "John Doe" who turned up and collect the 9 passwords to find the secret party location somewhere in the city. You’ll need at least 6 correct passwords to unlock your way in. The Moxie opens at 7:00pm sharp. Show up early and risk bringing the whole house down with a raid.

This is an immersive puzzle game taking place throughout Appleton for teams of 2-5! All ages are welcome to play but The Moxie is a 21+ establishment.

If you do not locate all 9 passwords and cannot figure out where the speakeasy is, have no fear! At 7pm we will post on the Escape Appleton Facebook where The Moxie is located. Your wristband will be required for entry. We are not able to replace lost wristbands, so be sure not to lose it.

• You do not need to access any private properties. The entire game is designed around public areas.

• Be courteous and have fun.

• DRIVE SAFE! There is no need to speed.

• Feel free to use Google, phone a friend, or ask other players in public for some assistance if you need to. If another team asks for some assistance, don’t just give them the answer – but push them in the right direction.

• Don’t lose your wristband. We will not be able to replace any lost or damaged wristbands. Wristbands will be required to enter The Moxie. Wristbands must be worn on wrists and not cut off. Any wristband that is removed will no longer be valid.
