Tethered Ends

by Lauren Gresens, Joey Anderson

Celia Cruz was an iconic musician and cultural force, instrumental in popularizing salsa, which emerged in 1960s New York. She ignited the salsa revolution, uniting a diaspora. Our movement aims to embody her unstoppable rhythm, fierce grace, and cultural bridge, dancing to honor her legacy of azúcar—sweetness, strength, and joy.
