Can parents leave the event?

Parents/guardians must remain at the event for its entire duration. A workspace will be available for adults. Please note that adults are not expected to participate in any of the youth activities. If a parent or guardian is unable to attend, we kindly ask that you do not register.

Who is leading this event?

This event is a collaboration between The Embold Project and Johns Hopkins University’s FLOC (Female Leaders of Color). The Embold Project is a youth-led organization founded and run by Baltimore City high school students, and FLOC is a Hopkins student organization that uplifts women of color.

Will there be photos or videos taken?

Yes, photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional or documentation purposes. Families who prefer not to be photographed can let us know at check-in.
